it is alot lighter than a Z. But when a 2.0L turbo stands against a 3.0L twin turbo, odds are the larger motor is the favorite. It may be true that MR2's claim to eat Z32TTs for lunch, but that's a relative comparison. Equally modified, I'd say the Z will take the Mister2 out on speed. But when it comes to handling, the lighter car will take the trophy. Also, don't forget that the Z is a front-engine car, whereas the MR2 is mid-engine. By no means can the cars be directly compared. Even automotive magazines place the cars in different categories. When it comes down to it, it depends on personal preference. Of course, posts on TT.net will favor the Z32TT.
